BFGMiner is a modular ASIC/FPGA miner written in C, featuring dynamic clocking, monitoring, and remote interface capabilities.Where can I have more information about BFGMiner? Please refer to the official forum thread on BitcoinTalk.NEW VERSION 5.4.2, MARCH 26 2016 You can read the full changelog here. How can we improve Bitcoin/Litecoin/Dogecoin Miner?← General Add ASIC mining support 449 Vote Sign in Forgot password?Create a password I agree to the terms of service Signed in as (Sign out) Close 31 comments 1 2 Next → New and returning users may sign in Sign in Forgot password?Create a password I agree to the terms of service Signed in as (Sign out) Close Cancel General Post a new idea… All ideas My feedback Reset Give feedback GroupFabricSign In Register Categories Recent Discussions Activity Unanswered Best Of... All at a lower cost than AMD in China?SO YES.. it can be done but how much have you got to spend cos im not working on a promise and i want a retainer up front too, and I only travel 1st class and you will have to pay for the travel of my close protection operative too. Also, can you name a current Bitcoin ASIC manufacture that is not Chinese that is still in business?I hear spondoolies tech was made bankrupt last week by an Israeli court .

It's got sh!t loads of money now 1 greenuser 439 May 2016 o0ragman0o said:Hey, we could make a proposal to the DAO!It's got sh!t loads of money now Sure, but can we build it before the timebomb (shift from PoW to PoS) goes off.just over 6 months left of mining. We need to have it built and in production by the end of this month.
buy litecoin asicThen we have 5 months to sell and distribute (no one will buy in the last month of mining).
man bitcoin-qtI'm up for it but the wage has to be right.Non of this, "Oh we get paid at the end!"A better move would be to make a PCB with a memory chip that will plug into a USB socket to hold the DAG file rather than use the GPU memory store. Thus allowing anysize GPU to be used to mine.Still only got 6 months to make our money back and turn at least 50% profit.0 Genoil 769 May 2016 0 LP12 40 May 2016 0 Sign In or Register to comment.

Thread Modes what do you say about all this bitcons asic poping up #1 Doing more than 60 Gh/s.will it be possible to use theme for password cracking as well ?it seems like the quick answer is no./questio...bow-tables /index.php?topic=87476.0 but since mining difficult will probably increase dramatically because of those system which will probably make them obsolete it seems like a huge waste of hardware.#2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 I understand that, because of that wrote: Who will buy brand new 86xx 87xx and else I meant lower class cards of which performance will be about 2x+ less than HD6990 at around same price. Not talked about high end cards of price tag much higher.#1 = Application-specific integrated circuit = Graphic processing unit There are currently many debates regarding ASIC mining (Bitcoins) vs GPU mining (Ethereum, Zcash etc).At Leetpro we like to stay on the forefront of crypto currency trends.

We have done extensive research in the current market and have come to several conclusions.A bitcoin machine solves a complex algorithm and receives a reward in the form of a small fraction of bitcoin. The machine is specially built for this purpose and this purpose alone.A graphics card solves a complex algorithm and receives a reward in the form of the current crypto currency it is mining. There are many different types of GPU mining currencies.Computers are the main mining machine in GPU mining.Graphics cards are already being bought and sold second hand globally. This market is huge locally and internationally and easy to reach via advertising. The key here is to use your graphics card until you have recovered your initial investment and made some profit while there is still some warranty left on your card. This would be the perfect time to sell.If the profitability is still sufficient there is no need to upgrade. The usual warranty on a graphics card is about three years.ASIC miners have a warranty of about three months.

They are harder to resell as they tend to be more expensive and fall within a niche market.GPU miners are normal computers. As we write this blog, we are also mining. However, we do sell custom rigs that are built to the extreme and harness the graphics cards’ computing powers to keep costs to a minimum. In contrast, ASIC miners are built only to mine Bitcoin and you cannot use it as a desktop computer. We have found that GPU mining’s power usage is way lower than that of ASIC miners.Saving power saves money. We have also had success running our rig on a solar-power system. We wouldn’t advise you to acquire a solar-power system for this purpose only as they are expensive, but if you already have one it could probably be utilized.Mining off the grid is possible.ASIC miners tend to be loud as a result of the large fan that has to run constantly in order to keep the machine cool. There are many videos regarding this problem on the web.GPU miners also have fans but to a much smaller scale and won’t make more noise than a gaming computer.

To upgrade a GPU miner involves upgrading your graphics card.To upgrade a graphics card is easy and usually, you need not buy an entire new computer. To upgrade an ASIC miner you need to buy a new machine completely.Unless you are upgrading on an enormous scale, upgrading your gaming PC with a new graphics card will then also increase your mining capabilities at the same time.Since graphics cards are more affordable than ASIC miners, your return on investment is faster. An impressive graphics card or two just look so beautiful in a custom PC box.In contrast, ASIC miners could be painted, but the warranty would probably expire immediately. They are not cool. This information is based on current findings. We constantly research crypto currencies and will keep you posted as we come across our findings. In the past ASIC miners were more profitable but times have changed and competition has grown. These are based on our findings for 2016 thus far.Copied from Leetpro's blog: https://www.leetpro.co.za/asic_or_gpu_mining/ #6 Thanks for the feedback Leetpro.
