Hongkonško menjalnico digitalne valute bitcoin Bitfinex so napadli hekerji in ukradli okrog 120 tisoč bitcoinov v skupni vrednosti skoraj 60 milijonov evrov.Cena bitcoina je na večini spletnih borz s kriptovalutami zaradi hekerskega napada zato padla za skoraj 20 odstotkov.Hekerski napad se je zgodil v torek pozno zvečer, so v izjavi na spletni strani zapisali pri menjalnici Bitfinex.Velik delež ukradenih bitcoinov je pripadal uporabnikom, ki pri Bitfinexu hranijo svoje digitalno premoženje.Trgovanje z bitcoini so zato začasno ustavili, trenutno pa poteka raziskava incidenta.Bitfinex je ena največjih svetovnih borz za bitcoin in digitalni valuti ethereum ter litecoin.Sedež ima v Hongkongu, podružnici pa tudi v Evropi in Združenih državah Amerike.Kraja kovancev po ceni bitcoina ni udarila tako zelo kot Mt.Gox pred tremi leti Pred objavo novice o hekerskem napadu je bila cena enega bitcoina po podatkih spletnega portala Coindesk 537 evrov, nato pa je v nekaj urah padla na vsega 456 evrov.
