If you're looking to actually profit from mining bitcoins, then you're about a couple years too late.Profitability from home mining is dead because the hash rate necessary to make a profit is (as of Nov 2015) is somewhere around 0.25W per Ghs if you live in central Washington state and can get hydroelectric power for 0.02/kWh.That said, this USB miner does work but is VERY difficult to get running.
bitcoin euro historicoI've gotten it to work on both Windows 7 and a Raspberry Pi.
bitcoin qt hacked***Note*** to use it with the raspberry Pi, you need a good quality *powered* USB hub (RPi doesn't have enough power on its own to power the Avalon).
bitcoin cuanto vale en dolaresThe Hub should be a USB 2.0 hub (the 3.0 don't work well with RPi).

I got mine to sucessfully work with this hub:Plugable USB 2.0 7-Port High Speed Hub with 15W Power AdapterI also recommend using bfgminer.However, you have to use special command arguments to get the miner to work specifically:Windows:bfgminer.exe -S ICA://COM<0-13> -set-device ICA:baud=115200 -set-device ICA:reopen=timeout -set-device ICA:work_division=1 -set-device ICA:fpga_count=1 -set-device ICA:probe_timeout=100 -set-device ICA:timing=0.22 -api-listen -o stratum+tcp://
-O -p ** The COM should be whatever COM port windows maps the USB to.buy bitcoin cvsAlso, you'll need to download windows drivers for the minerLinux/Raspberry Pi:sudo ./bfgminer -S ICA:/dev/ttyACM0 --set-device ICA:baud=115200 --set-device ICA:reopen=timeout --set-device ICA:work_division=1 --set-device ICA:fpga_count=1 --set-device ICA:probe_timeout=100 --set-device ICA:timing=0.22 --api-listen -o stratum+tcp:// -O -p ** The miner doesn't need a driver for linux but instead gets mapped to a virtual COM port and acts like a virtual modem.bitcoin chart 3 jahre

You can check to see what port it's mapped to with: ls /devIt should be "ttyACM" and then a number.Pretty neat, Tips for running on windows inside.Super Fast Shipping!Very Pleased!Avalon Nano 3 Newest USB 3.6Gh/s Asic Bitcoin MinerThis is coming from a complete bitcoin mining noob so I did not know what to expect other than the research that I had done online.Since this was my first toe dip into bitcoin mining I tried to select the highest hash rate at the lowest cost.I found these for $33/ea (x2) and decided to dive in on 12/19/15.The products were initially reported to arrive anywhere between 12/28/15 through 1/5/16 (free shipping option), so I waited.Being impatient I checked the tracking and found that the products were already in route. To my surprise they arrived on 12/22/15, almost a week before the earliest reported delivery date.So I was more than pleased with this company's fast order processing and shipping. That alone earned them 5 stars. The initial setup was a bit tricky as some of the files are in what I assume is Chinese.

However, a quick Google search for the Avalon Nano 3 showed me to a few forums where individuals reviewed the product and discussed installation and setup. The instructions were not well written so the process took a little time to complete, I would say about an hour (this is a guess since I did not check the clock before or after).Once the setup was complete, my wallet setup, and I had joined a pool, I was mining. With such small amount of processing power the bitcoins are not just rolling in but I've earned a small portion of 1 bitcoin in less than 24 hours. This product is only for testing and trying out. This product will not make you rich... at least unless you are willing to wait beyond your lifetime for the returns.:) However, it certainly will help you learn how the system works so that you can decide if this is for you or not.I believe that I have caught the bug and am looking ahead to a time in the future where I can expand my operation.Thank you for your time. This episode covers Bitcoin, a digital, decentralized currency.
