It’s always to get that extra bit of burst damage for yourself or your team.Now what hero would love to have some burst damage instead of any other item?Most people would probably say Nyx Assassin is the most suitable hero for Dagon (you can pretty much kill every hero early game if you get a good dagon timing) but to be very honest, it’s better if you get a blink/mobility item on Nyx in higher ranked games.So instead of Nyx, I’d say that tinker is the most suitable hero for dagon.You obviously get Dagon after Travels, Blink, aether lens (aether lens is kinda optional but it increases the range of dagon and all your spells so it’s pretty good) but the ability to constantly use the burst of dagon is what makes it truly powerful on Tinker.Nyx, but only on low level pub where everybody dies to invi heroes and still nobody buys sentries.Bounty Hunter.BH is good as a support with dagon to help burst the enemy down (adding to damage from shuriken).But again only on low level pub without vision on invi heroes.Puck, additional damage needed to burst enemy down.Necrophos.
